The Oklahoma Governor's Prayer Breakfast is the state's premier civic prayer gathering — a morning where people who rarely share a table sit down together and pray for Oklahoma's leaders and its future.
It is not a political event. There are no endorsements, no platforms, and no agenda beyond prayer. Leaders of every party are welcome, and every year they come.
With a new administration taking office, the 2027 breakfast marks a fresh chapter — and Capitol Culture is honored to host it.

Tables come first. Churches, businesses, and organizations reserve a full table and fill it with their people — which is how most guests attend for the first time.
Individual seats open in the final week, if any remain. Tables are the reliable way in.

The breakfast runs on the generosity of Oklahomans who believe leaders should be prayed for. Sponsorship covers the venue, the meal, and the program — and makes seats available to people who could not otherwise attend.
One purpose.
Governing is a lonely job. The people who do it carry decisions most of us never see, under scrutiny most of us never face. For one morning each year, the state stops and prays for them — not for their politics, but for them.
That is the whole point. It always has been.
